Thanks for your recent post about our work. Looks like we are on similar trajectories in learning about this topic, Colin. Your website is a great way to document your learning and I’m sure you’ll be making a meaningful contribution to the literature as you develop your project.
I’m hoping that you may be interested in exploring the ways we might begin to develop teaching and learning tools for helping educators understand these issues. If you would like to participate in this work, let me know. It’s obvious from these pages that you’re bringing many of the same sensibilities to the project… and we have plenty of work that needs to be done in Year 2 of our project. Perhaps when the semester is over, we can find time to talk by phone about possibilities.

Bravo!
I have temporarily benefited from listening to classroom lectures via podcast, only to be cut off by restricted access.
I assumed there were issues with profit making at the university.
I realize now from your site, it is more a concern with profit making by the publishers and authors.
Funny thing is, as a podcast listener, I likely to purchase the book used in the class (which, without the podcast listener, is a sale that the publisher never would have enjoyed). The purchase of a $100 text is a fraction of the $1500 tuition - not to mention commuting 500 - 1800 miles to enroll and attend the class
Thank you Colin. Keep up your pursuit of a fair resolution for all involved.
