Emerson College is co-sponsoring a speaker series this semester with New Radio and Performing Arts, Inc. called Floating Points 4: Participatory Media. From the website:
“. . . a speaker series that addresses the recent emergence of inexpensive, worldwide, and many-to-many publishing and communication media. Built on Internet and wireless communication technologies, these media have transformed the relationship between cultural producers and consumers.”
On February 28, Ulises Mejias and Trebor Scholz presented at this first in a series of events, which is now available on video.
Berkman Fellow David Weinberger will be presenting with McKenzie Wark at the next Floating Points event on March 28.
